Design Bay Area: Regional Festivals
The future started here. The Bay Area’s first and leading multi-disciplinary design, arts, and culture platform hosts events year-round, but these are our special flagship festivals. Most are annual traditions; a few are marquee moments.
These events are an opportunity to experience the San Francisco Bay Area through the lens of design. Whether you are a member of our community or just visiting the Bay Area, we hope you’ll dive in and connect with the people and places where innovation happens.
Festival Calendar 2026
- Design Silicon Valley takes place throughout the month of May, 2026 based on zip code. Event calendar will be announced in April. designsiliconvalley.org
- San Francisco Design Week June 1–12th, 2026. Event calendar will be announced May 1st. sfdesignweek.org
- Design Marin takes place throughout the month of September, 2026 based on zip code. Event calendar will be announced in July. designbayarea.org/marin
- Design Healdsburg October 2–4th, 2026. You are encouraged to make a 3-Day weekend of it and attend each day of events. Event calendar will be announced in August. designhealdsburg.com
- Design Sausalito: Takes place typically in November every other year. Next edition will take place in 2027. designsausalito.org
- Design East Bay / Oakland: Coming 2027-2028. Contact us if your studio wants to participate by hosting an event.
