Join Kit Hinrichs for a book signing and presentation of his latest book, Broad Stripes/Bright Stars.

The book is a look at American icons over the past 250 years of the country and highlights a sampling of 500 of Kit’s collection of American Flags and other Americana objects. We’ll explore the myths and legends of the flag and see some interesting examples of our American icon in celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary, including Navajo weavings, patriotic and protest posters, historical photographs, and handmade quilts.
