The Design Bay Area Social Club is a series of events curated to bring our community together for social connections under an umbrella of activities. The activities are casual in nature and are open to everyone. Introductions will be made so that everyone can socialize during the activity! If the group is feeling up for it, we can find a spot for coffee or drinks post-activity.

Join us for a relaxed morning of conversation, caffeine, and creativity with fellow designers and makers! We’ll meet at Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters in Cow Hollow—known for its beautiful interiors and top-notch coffee—and then take a casual walk through the Marina to Crissy Field, soaking up inspiration from the city and each other along the way.

This is a low-key social meetup, perfect for creatives looking to connect, swap ideas, and enjoy a sunny SF morning. No pressure, just good vibes and good company.

What to Expect:

  • We will meet at Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters in Cow Hollow and wait 15 minutes for attendees to arrive.
  • Everyone purchases their own coffee. If possible, bring a reusable mug to cut down on single use!
  • We’ll start with coffee and then head out for a ~45 min walk through the Marina toward Crissy Field
  • Wear comfy shoes and bring a light jacket (just in case!)
  • Street parking only, and it can be tricky—public transit or biking highly recommended!
  • We’ll kick things off with a short icebreaker so everyone can get to know each other
  • Don’t forget to download the Design Bay Area App to post photos and join the conversation!
  • We will be using the Design Bay Area App to communicate with attendees, so make sure you have the app!

How to Register:

  • Registration is through the Design Bay Area Mobile App only: Log in and find the Events Calendar, then click on the Designers & Makers Social Club event, and tap the RSVP button so we know you’re coming! Don’t already have the app? Download here!
  • We will also use the app (specifically on the Social Club Event Post) to communicate with attendees in real time so it is imperative you have it downloaded and an account set up!
  • Have any issues downloading the app or questions about registration? Email us at [email protected]
