| We’re now accepting applications for a Summer 2026 Industrial Design Intern to join our San Francisco studio. Interns at Whipsaw are highly valued and fully embedded members of the team and have direct interaction with clients and senior management throughout the course of their experience. With this responsibility, interns are given the opportunity to have their concept selected by a client and make it to production. What you’ll doInterface with industrial design, experience design, and engineering team members to create seamless design solutionsActively research design solutions and user applicationsEngage in concept exploration for diverse projectsContribute to client presentationsDo some model-making What you’ll bring3+ years as an Industrial Design studentSound problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, an innate sense of good aesthetics, strong communication, uniqueness, and passionA portfolio demonstrating concept exploration, innovative solutions, and problem-solving skills3D modeling skills (Rhino, SolidWorks, or Alias preferred)Confidence with 2D and 3D design visualization toolsCurrent authorization to work in the United States The application deadline is February 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM PST.
