For this panoramic visit, we will meet at the new shop/ gallery at Ken Fulk headquarters where Diane Dorrans Saeks will begin the group tour.

There, we will visit Ken’s latest sensation, his dazzling new by appointment-only shop, Ken Fulk Purveyor of the Extraordinary. The alluring and inspiring shop offers design, antiques, garden decor, lifestyle, curiosities, and Ken Fulk vintage finds, Ken’s favorite books, private collections, art, accessories. Please note: Ken Fulk has extended the offer of a designer discount of ten per cent off for all attendees for purchases.

We visit the Magic Factory studio and atelier, to discuss recent projects, and view the dynamic setting for Fulk and his large team.

We will carpool, walk and gather at St. Joseph’s Arts Foundation to be welcomed by Martin Strickland, the dynamic director of St Joseph’s Arts Society.   We will study the architecture and renovation of the historic former cathedral, and discuss the foundation’s membership, which supports artists and city arts groups.

On view at St. Joseph’s Arts Society for all attendees, is the vivid and expressive new show “La Pocha Nostra, The Other Art World”. We will view the collective’s multi-media works. Martin Strickland will offer insight, details and information on the many forms of La Pocha Nostra work and decades-old dialogs, conversations, and dramatic poster imagery.

La Pocha Nostra is an ever-morphing trans-disciplinary arts organization, founded in 1993 by Guillermo Gómez-Peña, Roberto Sifuentes, and Nola Mariano in California. The objective was to formally conceptualize Gómez-Peña’s collaborations with other performance artists. It provides an international base (and forum) for a loose network of rebel artists from various disciplines, generations and ethnic backgrounds, whose common denominator is the desire to cross and erase borders between art and politics, practice and theory, artist and spectator.
